Have you ever dreamed of spending a white Christmas in a ski resort with picture postcard snow conditions?
If you’re like us and love the idea of skiing over the Christmas holidays enjoying powder turns during the day and relaxing in a cosy condo next to the fire at night, then you’ve probably wondered which resorts have the best snow conditions at this time of year.
Whilst all of the featured resorts in our North America collection are snow-sure, three of the resorts from our Ski Canada portfolio have just been named as having some of the best snowfall totals in North America this week.
The three resorts are located in British Columbia and even though it’s still only early season, the snowiest resort in North America has just announced a snowfall total of over 5 metres!!
If you’re looking for a very snowy Christmas this year, then pack up your ski gear and head for some of the snowiest resorts in North America:
Revelstoke currently has the best snowfall total in North America having just surpassed 200 inches. That’s over 16 feet of snow or over 500cm …. That’s over 5 metres!!
Any way you count it, Revelstoke is going to have a ‘powder-licious’ Christmas.
Revelstoke is located in the Powder Highway region of interior British Columbia – one of the snowiest places in North America.
Whistler Blackcomb in western British Columbia is a fantastic resort and a great choice if you’re looking to ski at Christmas. The resort currently has a year to date snowfall total of 170 inches … that’s over 14 feet of the white stuff and it’s still only early season!
Kicking Horse is also located on the Powder Highway and so far this season has seen 146 inches of powder snow. That’s just over 12 feet of snow already this year.
