Mont Tremblant is the largest ski resort on Canada’s East Coast. Located in the heart of Quebec, this charming mountain resort exudes European style. The French influence is obvious as you wander around the pedestrian friendly centre, full of colourful buildings, patisseries, cafes and restaurants. The skiing here is perfect for families; with plenty of blue and green trails to explore. Nearly all the accommodation in the resort offers ski-in convenience. With a shorter flight to the East Coast of Canada, and a short transfer time, this is a great resort for your next family ski holiday.

Set in the Laurentian Mountains, Mont Tremblant offers 96 trails, set over four mountain faces. Half the runs are suitable for beginners and intermediates. There is a dedicated beginners area and the ski school has a fantastic reputation, with small class sizes and friendly bi-lingual instructors. Intermediates will love cruising some of the easier blues on Versant Sud and testing their skills on some of the more challenging trails on Versant Nord. 50% of the resort is designated advanced terrain and the resort has some of the best gladed tree runs in eastern Canada.

Wandering around this picturesque mountain village after the ski lifts close for the day is a great way to soak in some of Quebec’s unique culture. French is the official language in the region and the French influence is everywhere to be seen in the resort. For a small village, it has a wide variety of restaurants, boutique shops and a lively nightlife. You’ll find lots of great food options here; from light snacks to gourmet upscale restaurants. One of the best bars in the resort is Le P’tit Caribou, which has repeatedly been voted ‘Best bar in Eastern Canada’ by Ski Canada Magazine.
Nearly all the hotels and apartments in this compact, charming resort offer ski-in/ski-out convenience. Hotels offer four to five-star accommodations and include the 5* Fairmont Chateau Tremblant and the 4* plus Le Westin Resort & Spa.

Mont Tremblant has been voted the #1 resort in Eastern Canada on numerous occasions and is a firm favourite with families. It’s a charming resort, with a great ski school, plenty of ski-in/ski-out hotels and apartments, lots of good family friendly restaurants and plenty to keep the kids occupied off the slopes. A ski holiday here is as much about the cultural experience, as it is about the skiing. If you’ve never skied in North America before, this resort is the perfect choice for your next half term getaway to the mountains.
