Deer Valley is the ultimate five star ski resort experience and was voted ‘Best Ski Resort in the USA’ in the 2019 World Ski Awards. It’s Utah’s luxury resort and sets the standard for slope grooming, guest services, hotel accommodation and dining. The resort prides itself on delivering the ultimate guest experience both on and off the slopes and is unashamedly upmarket.
Deer Valley is a skiers only resort, with over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain and over 100 runs laid out over four connected mountains which offer plenty of terrain for all abilities.
The resort limits ticket sales each day – so that guests can make the most of the quiet runs and enjoy the sense of space. Consequently, the lift lines here are almost non-existent.
Intermediates will love skiing here. Deer Valley prides itself on preparing perfectly groomed slopes each day – even after a snowfall. The slopes are wide and confidence boosting – the perfect place to master those parallel turns.
The resort receives around 25 feet of snow every year – so you can expect plenty of the light, dry, powder snow that Utah is famous for. For pristine powder turns, head to Lady Morgan Bowl on a snow day. The resort also has some great tree skiing that experts will enjoy – one of the best gladed areas to explore is Triangle Trees on Bald Mountain.
The resort is renowned for its unrivalled service and attention to detail. Two of the finest hotels in America are in the resort. There are heated pavements, ski valets to help you gear up at the start of your day, fine dining restaurants on the mountain and perfectly manicured trails to enjoy on the slopes. Off the slopes, the local bars and restaurants are upscale and the resort has a family friendly atmosphere.
The resort is located right next to Park City, the largest ski area in the USA and makes a great option for a twin centre holiday. With a short transfer time from the airport, legendary snow, exceptional guest services and two world class resorts right next to each other Deer Valley is another great reason to put Utah on your to do list!
