Selkirk Tangiers Heli Ski have been going into the backcountry for 40 years.  A one day package includes 3 drops.  Package includes professional guides, transceiver and related backcountry equipment, high performance powder ski or board rental, breakfast, backcountry and helicopter safety briefings, on-mountain gourmet lunch and apres ski snacks.


For the past 46 years RK Heli Ski have been sharing the magic of the backcountry.  A one day package includes 3 drops and is a great introductory taster day aimed at strong intermediates.  All guests are issued with transceivers, probes, shovels and radios and backcountry safety training is provided.  Powder ski and boards are available for rental.  Breakfast and on-mountain pack lunch is included.

RK Heli Ski is really convenient for guests staying in Panorama as their heli-plex is located in the village.  If you’re staying in Banff, there is a return transfer available for an additional fee.

Kicking Horse


Purcell Heli Ski have been providing single day and multi-day backcountry adventures in the pristine powder of the Purcell mountains for nearly 40 years.  The single day excursion includes 5 runs, professional guides, safety equipment, powder ski and snowboard rental, safety briefings, powder ski tuition, packed lunch, apres-ski snacks and heli-keepsake.  The heli-pad is located in Golden, BC close to Kicking Horse ski resort.


Whistler Heli skiing has 37 year’s experience of heading into Whistler’s back country. 

The classic one day excursion includes three runs and is aimed at solid intermediates and advanced skiers and riders.  Avalanche transceivers, professional guides, lunch and apres snacks are included.  Video and Photo service is also available.  The Heli-pad is a short 10 minute drive from the resort, but your day will start in Whistler village before being transported to the heli-plex.  Equipment rental can be arranged in the resort.

Park City

Powderbird Heli Ski fly out of Park City and Snowbird resorts in Utah, USA and have been Utah’s premier heli-ski operator for over 45 years.  A one day package will take you into the Wasatch backcountry to experience 6 runs on the pristine Utah powder.

Safety equipment including transceivers, shovel, probe and airbag are provided.  The day excursion includes breakfast, on-mountain lunch and apres ski snacks.  High performance powder skis are available for rental at both locations.
